Trainers
Our trainers are innovation facilitators and user experience designers with 10–15 years of experience supporting project, product, and innovation teams. Trained in Design Thinking, UX Design, and collective intelligence methods, they combine facilitation skills with hands-on exercises for a concrete, immediately applicable learning experience.

Detailed program
Day 1 – Understanding and immersing in user needs
1. Introduction to Design Thinking
- Origins, philosophy, and mindset (empathy, iteration, experimentation)
- The 5 stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test

Learning objective: Understand the framework and mindset of Design Thinking.

Workshop: Creative icebreaker in pairs to experience the Design Thinking mindset.
2. Empathy and user immersion
- Active listening and observation techniques
- User interviews, personas, empathy mapping

Learning objective: Gather and synthesize relevant user insights.

Workshop: Build an empathy map from simulated user interviews.
3. Defining the problem
- Reframing the need (point of view, “How might we…”)
- Prioritizing which problems to solve

Learning objective: Frame an actionable, user-centered problem statement.

Workshop: Collectively draft “How might we…” questions from the personas.
Day 2 – Ideating, prototyping, and testing solutions
4. Creative ideation
- Brainstorming techniques (brainwriting, SCAMPER, worst possible idea)
- Selecting and prioritizing ideas (impact/effort matrix)

Learning objective: Generate as many ideas as possible and select the most promising ones.

Workshop: Creative brainstorming session in small groups.
5. Rapid prototyping
- Principles of rapid, iterative prototyping
- Simple tools: paper, mockups, storyboards, role-play

Learning objective: Turn an idea into a testable prototype in just a few minutes.

Workshop: Build a low-fidelity prototype as a team.
6. User testing and iteration
- Running a user test and gathering feedback
- Iteration loop and action plan going forward

Learning objective: Test a solution and incorporate feedback to improve it.

Workshop: Cross-team testing and debrief of key learnings.
